2D Shooter Project Details
- Created for Educational Purposes (MSU CAS 117)
- First ever time making a 2D game with Unity! This was an invaluable lesson for learning how to design UI, Scenes, and character assets!
- It took around 2 days from the tutorial to the final release to finish
- Released a day one patch adding in a 4th level, new music, new cutscene, UI tweaks, and a new enemy design! (2/13/2024)
Modifications
- Quality of Life: Revamped UI and Menus styled in the fashion of Elder Scrolls
- Technical: Complete Soundscape, Soundtrack and texture overhaul from a wide variety of sources credited below
- "Story": Added intro cutscene as well as split fate cutscene ending, one for good and one for bad
- Levels: Added boss fight/challenge arena as the final stage as well as a bonus horde mode survival level
- Animation: Retextured and animated sprites from the Elder Scrolls Arena and Elder Scrolls Daggerfall as character models
- Booby Traps: Explosive barrels added for extra challenge in certain levels
